Our Story
Born in 2024, Yarra River Wine has been a vision of director Tom Yan since expanding his longtime barcode business to Australia in 2019. Yarra River Wine branched out from our distribution company, Panda Online, as our key gateway into the wine market. Tom's vision was to get highly sought for Australian made wine overseas!

Yarra River Wine is a Melbourne-based private label wine negotiant that have partnered with a Geelong-based winemaker that sources, stores and ferments internationally sought for Australian grapes from top vineyards across Victoria and South Eastern Australia. This allows us to be able to sell our wine at a lower price than most other competitors!

In late 2025, We also partnered with King Valley-based winery, WoodPark Wine, adding their wine brand to our stock list!

We operate predominantly online through E-Commerce, but we do have an in person storefront located in Shenzhen, China.
Whilst our office is based in Melbourne, Australia, we also operate offices in Shenzhen, China as well as Hong Kong! This has allowed us to create a Shenzhen-based store & showroom, and have a Hong Kong-based warehouse.

For our E-Commerce platform stores, we also have stock stored at their respective warehouses across China as well.

In May 2025, Yarra River Wine launched our first wine range, "Panda On Wine", selling entry level Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz cooking wine. "Panda On Wine" launched in China & Hong Kong, through our HKTVMall & WeChat E-Commerce stores, as was as our in person store in Shenzhen!
Our Environmental Impact
Yarra River Wine partners with a Geelong-based winemaker that sources, stores and ferments Internationally sought for Australian grapes from top vineyards across Victoria and South Easter Australia. Our Winemaking partner sources excess grapes from these wineries through a program that helps reduce their food wastage and brings opportunities for smaller businesses to enter the wine market with wine crafted from internationally sought for and recognised grapes!

Yarra River Wine's "Panda On Wine", "YRW " and "Black Label " ranges are proudly produced with 100% excess grapes, making them a more environmentally sustainable product than our competitors and paving the way for the future of sustainable winemaking!
By utilising excess grapes, we provide new life for them to be preserved without compromising any of its original quality by the time it is ready for consumption. This also allows for us to provide wine at a lower price than some of our competitors.
